I’ve lost my wedding ring. :( Sometime between washing the dishes and going into the store it slipped off my finger without me noticing. I’ve searched high and low here at home and the car. Nadda. Nothing. Zilch. *whines* I’m almost positive that I had it on when we went into the store. Either way I want my fucking wedding ring back NOW! My finger feels lost and awkward.
We alerted the customer service bitch in the store in case it is found. Now I say bitch because by the time we walked away I was ready to punch her in the face. She was very rude and apparently has a listening disorder as the only thing she could repeat to us was, “Nope no one turned in a thing!“. Okay that’s fine and dandy we’re letting you know that we lost it today in our short time in your store for the future. After realizing it wasn’t something lost yesterday she mentioned how she “doesn’t trust the night manager as he’s Mexican and you know how they are“.1 but she’d keep a look out.
Feeling my blood boil at her dismissal of me I took a breath, but before I could say anything Jeremy beat me to the punch in his gentlemen manner asking if we could leave a number or something to be contacted should it be found. Seriously how on earth would we find the ring if we gave a description to airhead bitch who wasn’t listening in the first place? So I left my name, number, and a description of my ring. As a long shot I posted a craigslist ad for it as well. I really hope someone turns it in.
I want my ring! *cries*
Me too. I’m really hoping that it’s just playing hide and seek in the house but so far no luck. I’ve sent a complaint to Safeway about said biznatch so I feel somewhat better.
I am so sorry you lost your ring! I hope it turns up soon! And may I say that woman was a megabitch! You deserve a medal for not knocking her front teeth out!

I really hope you find it! I remember losing my ring very briefly for a bit and I was devastated so I know how you feel. Definitely hope you didn’t lose it at the store since bitch girl was being less than helpful. *hugs*

NO!! That is terrible. I would be lost if I lost my wedding and engagement rings! And I better be careful because they don’t really fit my finger anymore since I’ve lost weight. I sure hope you find it!!!

Oh no Dez! :( *hug* I hope it turns up quickly. Try to stay positive! As for the bitch… wow! Some people are so stupidly ignorant! I can’t believe she’d say that about the night manager! And that she did offer to keep an eye out and take your number before Jeremy had to ask! Stupid dumbass. I will send some positiveness your way, it may turn up in a weird place you just never thought of looking (or looked too hard around ;) ) Hopefully around your house somewhere so you don’t have to deal with stupid people again.
