I left my lunch box in the fridge at work on Friday. It contained salad and pizza. When I get there tomorrow I hope to god that Food Vacuum1 didn’t gobble it up. It had my name on it after all. If the name wasn’t enough to detour her, hopefully the pineapple on the pizza will. <.<
Mean? Possibly. True? Completely. My lunch has gone missing before. DO NOT LIKE.

What you cannot choose. The Rules are Simple
We all know that blogging/facebook/twitter is in our arena of what we like to do, so I am going to rule them out as one of the 5 that you can post about. They really are not very girly. Likewise, phones, computers, ipads are all out of the running. I am challenging myself to this, as I am really not a girly girly type of person, and I want to find that within myself. It’s not all about power suits, filofaxes, ipads and designer phones. If you want to pass this along, pick bloggers that you want to find out more about, and challenge them to write up their 5 secret passions that make them feel good. The idea is to lift our spirits this week. The fact that there is a linky added, just makes it all the more worthwhile in doing.
So let’s see. What are five things/passions that make me feel good. . .
So that’s my list. What is YOUR list? If you decide to do this on your blog leave me a link, otherwise let me know in the comments what your passions are :).
Anna wrote a very well spoken blog post titled, “It takes a village. And a facebook group. And a twitter feed.” which I feel is so awesomesauce that I’m going to pass it on. This post pertains to the support judgment on other parenting styles in the online world.
I’m not even a parent yet and some of the things I read and see pertaining to other online acquaintances makes my stomach turn for the worst. Some of the time it makes me feel like I’d be a horrible parent because I won’t be co-sleeping, or fail at breast feeding and have to formula feed, getting my child vaccinated or circumcised . Then I have to remember that I am fucking awesome and will know what is best for US. What works and fits into OUR life and OUR beliefs. Not someone elses.
So take a moment and read Anna’s entry and realize that no one is a cookie mold or knows what is 100% best for you and yours. Educate yourself then decide and offer support not judgment because someone differs from your beliefs.
In case you missed my tweet, facebook update, or other insane random message, Ares found a forever home!
His adoption is currently pending but holy crap how awesome is that?! He was only being fostered for a week. <3 I’m so happy.
