I was tagged by the lovely Jenn for this photo meme.
1. Go to your fifth picture folder, and choose your fifth picture.
2. Post the pic and tell us the story behind it.
3. Tag a friend to do the same.
This photo was taken on December 24th of 2006 and is the only Christmas that I did not spend at my Dad’s house. Instead my brother (to the left) drove me to the airport and I flew an hour to Denver Colorado to spend it with a guy I knew online. I can’t remember where he came from, but it was the only time he was close enough to meet up. I stayed at his Uncles and he stayed in a motel with his Dad. My trip sucked the best part was the Denver airport.
Now, I’m tagging Cole. I’m curious to see what she’ll come up with.
It only took me a month, but I finally uploaded all of my backlogged photos to flickr again. Now I can just take my time to sort out all the bad photos, the duplicates, and organize them into little neat sets and collections with proper tags. Really, some broken images on my site? Oh well. I’ve kind of stopped caring lately until I can get around to fixing it. I’m just going to relax and take my time rather than stress out, I have enough on my plate as it is.
I took my last Provera pill Wednesday night, it’s now 2:15AM on Friday morning and I have a feeling that my period is going to start any day now. Call it a hunch, or call it that stabbing back pain and restlessness in bed. :yuck: I hope it holds out another day so that Jeremy can drive with me to the OBGYN. I have driving anxiety, I hate it.
Playing a little catch up, I spent my week uploading photos, downloading some Jon and Kate plus 8 episodes from season 1 and 2, playing Mario Kart Wii with Jeremy, while indulging on some nice pizza with pleanty of red pepper flakes. :yum: The weather has been insanely hot, and the bugs are enough to make me wish for some snow.
My life is going great and I love most everything about it, aside from my weight issues, but even that is okay. I keep gaining and losing the same five pounds, but really at least I’m not gaining more! I’m down to 228 on a good day and 233 on a “ugh I ate too much” day. Go me.
:oh: And now, I’m going to kick Leo off of the bed so that I can sleep. He’ll jump back up, but at least I’ll be settled in.
“The HonestScrap award comes with a caveat or two. Firstly, you have to tell your readers ten things about you they may not know, but that are true. Secondly, you have to tag 10 people with the award.”
Ten Things You Might Not Know About Dez:
I present this award to the following ten people:
First let me apologize in advance for anything that gets broken while I switch all of my social networks to new names. I wish it wouldn’t have come to this, but after some thinking it truly was the easiest way to hopefully get Milly out of our life. If she winds up finding DeltaEchoZulu, fine, but it only shows that she truly is stalking us. In which case I will most likely shoot off an angry e-mail or two, and pending on the response will most likely lock entries that pertain to my more private life to be reader only. This goes for flickr as well. It’s already a huge pain in my ass to switch names, but hopefully it will be worth it.
My to-do list is getting shorter. Next up is downloading all my flickr photos, uploading them on the new name, updating photo links throughout D/E/Z and message boards, then moving on down the list. Apparently though my internet has other ideas on what I can and cannot do. So instead you’ll find me relaxing with a diet pepsi and playing Mario Kart on the Wii.
Do not attempt to adjust your sets. This is no error. It cannot be traced. It cannot be stopped. Dez.nu has switched over to the dark side, with the aid of cookies. Such a sell out ;). I can’t claim that it was all my idea though, I had some major inspiration, and have properly credited it in my domain section. Where you can also find, why I chose the birds.

Dez.nu wasn’t the only one to get a make over. I decided to do away with the fading pink hair, with orange showing through and brown roots, and jumped back onto the chocolate raspberry red hair boat. I’ve been getting mixed responses on the new color. “I love the red, you look so much better.” Thanks for telling me I was ugly before. “I loved the pink, go back to the pink. It looked cuter.” Thanks for telling me I’m ugly now. Really though, I like the red. Depending on how the sun is, it can appear to be a chocolate raspberry color, or a auburn red color. Jeremy is lover of red hair, so a few compliments of how beautiful I look helps too.
Aside from working on the layout, defrosting the “frost free” freezer, and being sick with sinus headaches, not much else has been going on. Hopefully by tomorrow I’ll be able to properly breathe out of my nose without my head trying to explode so I can go work, or stay asleep.
